Each activity includes scaffolding techniques to guide and support children’s development
and includes suggestions on how to use activities to support thematic vocabulary
development and concepts.
Extensions and suggestions for assessments are embedded into the activities. The teacher’s state
prekindergarten standards, Head Start Outcomes and NAEYC Standards are listed on each page
of the teacher’s Quick Reference Guide.
The teacher’s Quick Reference Guide is organized with icons and color coding for easy use.
The Guide is assembled on an O-ring for quick location and each activity is printed on a
8½" x 5½" card that can be removed if desired.
